Do you remember that Dunkin Donuts commercial from back in the day? Fred the baker would repeatedly wake up at the crack of dawn every day and say in a tired voice, “Time to make the donuts.” The obvious message behind the commercial was that this is what it took to make sure the donuts were fresh but if we look a little closer, there is another revelation. Yes…we’re getting revelation from a donut commercial!🤣 Fred the baker was stuck in a monotonous circle of life! Get up early…make donuts…go to bed and it all started over again. STUCK! Nothing to look forward to. This was his life; nothing more…nothing less. Have you ever felt like you were caught in the “Time to make the donuts” cycle? Well, LET ME ENCOURAGE YOU!
First off let me start by saying I’m so glad God isn’t like man! His great love for us is never-ending!♥️ The bible says in Lamentations Chapter 3 verse 23 that God gives us a brand new mercy every morning. This means that every day we get to start over FRESH; our slates are

wiped clean! It’s another opportunity to get right where we’re wrong, to continue what hasn’t been completed and even begin something new. That simple! But you know how we do...we can’t keep it simple, we have to complicate things. A HOT MESS!🙄 Instead of embracing God’s daily gift of a fresh start, we have to drag the atmosphere and emotion of yesterday into our today. Don’t get me wrong, I understand you may have to deal with issues from yesterday but you can address them with a fresh attitude and mindset from today. Because what can you do about what you didn’t do a day, an hour, or even a minute ago? NOTHING!! That time has gone. All you can do from this EXACT moment is go forward.
So if you you’re reading this, which I hope you are, you made the “wake up list”! God has been loving, merciful and faithful AGAIN!🙌🏽 You’ve been gifted with a fresh start. TAKE IT!!
Now this was just what, I needed
